Godo Yas café
Karim khan district in Tehran is famous for its variety of cafes. It’s a busy area hence why it makes sense for many people to open a cafe here.
Godo Yas used to an old Iranian house with a huge front yard which was slightly renovated and turned into a cafe. It has a huge indoor and outdoor seating area and they even have have movie nights on the roof on special days. You can have Iranian main courses with plenty of drinks and dessert options. This café is open daily from morning until night.
Ribar is a beautiful outdoor café in Tehran. This café is located inside the museum of time and has a calming atmosphere. Ribar is famous for its breakfast and brunch open menu. If you’re visiting the beautiful mansion of the Time museum while you’re in the capital, we’d suggest stopping by at the Ribar for a cup of coffee.
Ribar is open every day from 9 AM to 11:30 PM.
Femme Chic patisserie
There are many cafes in Enghelab Street that satisfy almost every taste. One of the unique cafes in this area is a small pastry boutique called Femme Chic. Here’s where you can find a wide choice of delicate French pastries with a Persian touch. The ingredients are of the highest quality and top notch presentation.
Femme Chic is open Sunday to Friday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Rouhi is a café and restaurant complex with three branches in Tehran. One of Rouhi cafes is located close to Tajrish square. This is a good spot to relax after visiting the bazaar of Tajrish and all the attractions nearby. Another great experience would be the café located in Negarestan garden. This garden has a pleasant atmosphere. There is also a museum in which you can see some of the great works of Persian artist.
Just keep in mind that due to the time limits of Negarestan garden, you can only visit this place before 7 PM but the Tajrish branch is open until late.
Ansoo is a cozy café in an old building in Tehran. At Ansoo you can spend several hours far from the crowded city and enjoy the charming atmosphere.
Ansoo is actually a culture house where you can enjoy other activities as well. One of the very interesting features of Ansoo is that there pottery workshops held here. You can make your own work of pottery from the beginning to end with or without a pottery wheel.
Ansoo is open daily from 8:30 AM to 11 PM but the pottery section is only open in the afternoons.
If you are looking for a modern coffee house in Enghelab Street, Agor is one of the best choices. You can have light meals as well as snacks here. Agor is open every day from morning to night.
If you see a giant “L” sign on the street, you are getting close to one of Lamiz coffee shop branches in Tehran. Lamiz is a chain coffee shop with reasonable coffee. There is always a seating area, but many people pick up their coffee from Lamiz and drink it elsewhere.
Lamiz serves a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks. You also have some interesting choices of pastry and sweets at Lamiz. All of Lamiz branches are open daily from early in the morning until night.
